Color Trends
Introducing the most current colors is an invigorating challenge and it's our goal to give the interior design trade the latest trends.
Grey, specifically a warm grey with a hint of taupe, seems to be an important new color in interiors. Lavender - as an accent color - will be prevalent in the coming years.
As important as the latest color trends are the tone and hue of a color and the pairing or schemes of colors. For example, the current trend for Red is less orange, cleaner and lighter. Red is most updated when used with taupe or tan not gold. Aqua - a favorite interior color - is greener again, and instead of being paired with a heavy chocolate brown, it is being used on its own or with a softer neutral.
Also, adding a hint of metallic - silver, gold or bronze is a fresh way to glam up or modernize a room. |
